Well, that was fun.
I can now officially say we have been to Seoul, Korea- stayed in a hotel and seen their city streets.
We were told Korean Air would give us a voucher for the night, but we were wrong.
Thankfully, Korean Air kept with their excellent customer service and helped us find a hotel close to the airport with availability. So we didn’t have to sleep at the airport. Which was great of course, but I would have TOTALLY done it!
One, because I love a good story.
Two, because Incheon airport is SUPER nice!
We all handled the situation well and had good rest last night.
I have learned to roll with the punches with traveling and honestly, it’s what I love about it.
Last year, our mission trip group missed our flight to Atlanta from Seattle. Even though I was bummed to be home a day later. I was so excited to have another day with my hubs and I always wanted to go to Seattle.
God knows about the little detours in life. He sees them ahead of time. When we learn to trust Him and know that He is Jehovah Jireh-the God who sees ahead and provides-we can walk through these things with great grace and freedom. Some of the best moments of my life were little “detours” God took me down.
Hopefully, I will remember this as we continue on our journey to Milo. 😉 I’m sure that there will be a few more.
Lord, help me to be flexible to your little detours.
We are now boarding for Guangzhou!
Next stop, China!!
